Middle School (6-8)

Producing Leaders

Los Angeles Private School | Valley Private School | Private Middle Schools | JH Banner
Our middle school students (Grades 6-8) are the leaders and role models that our younger students look up to and seek to emulate. They are the officers in our Student Council, serve as the leads in our theatrical and musical productions, engage in our mock trial program in the Los Angeles Superior Court, and participate in our outdoor education trips to Joshua Tree, the Pali Institute, and CIMI, as well day trips to Mountain High for a day of skiing/snowboarding and The Museum of Tolerance, along with other wonderful experiential learning opportunities.

Our environment and culture instill self-confidence and create student leaders. Berkeley Hall middle school students are the oldest students in the school, are looked up to by younger students, and take on the responsibility of being leaders and role models

Not surprisingly, both research and experience have confirmed the value of a Berkeley Hall education – which is characterized by interdisciplinary teaching, a personalized, student-centered approach, cooperative group work, rigorous academic and character education programs, and ongoing interactions with caring, supportive, attentive teachers – who are well-suited to teaching students in their “tween” and early teenage years.

When our graduates leave us, they are fully prepared to assume leadership roles at their respective high schools and beyond. Click HERE to see where Berkeley Hall graduates go.
