Steps to Apply

Berkeley Hall's online application for the 2024-2025 school year is available. Please follow the steps below. We encourage you to call us at (310) 476-6421 or write to us by email with any questions.
 
Step 1 – REQUEST ADMISSION INFORMATION  Fill out our online form. You'll receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to establish your online account. 
  •  COME VISIT US! Click Event RSVP to register for an Admission Coffee and Tour and a Discover BHS (Open House).
Step 2 – APPLY ONLINE Log into Cooper's Cave, our admissions portal, to access your child's Admissions Progress Checklist and complete the online application. Access to the Cooper’s Cave Admission Portal is provided upon the completion of the online inquiry form detailed in Step 1. While our initial application deadline occurred on January 14th, 2024, we are still accepting applications for 2024-2025 in some select grade levels. Step 3 – SUBMIT RECOMMENDATION FORMS AND TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORMS TO CURRENT SCHOOL  Instructions are on your child's Admissions Progress Checklist.
 
Step 4 – SCHEDULE AN ASSESSMENT / TESTING / PARENT INTERVIEW  Call to schedule these after submitting the application.  Berkeley Hall will not require, nor consider Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) scores as part of the admissions process for 5th to 8th grade applicants for entry into the 2024-2025 school year.
 
Step 5 – RECEIVE ADMISSIONS NOTIFICATIONS Notifications for the 2024-2025 school year will be released on February 29, 2024 (Nursery and Early Kindergarten [EK] or March 8, 2024 (Kindergarten - Grade 8). A rolling admission process follows during the Spring and Summer should limited spaces be available.
